Yum Alert! #4 Honey Republic Organic Strawberry Margarita
Happy National Margarita Day! As our friends in Boston would say "This is wicked bueno!". The great thing is that all ingredients are organic.
Honey Republic Organic Strawberry Margarita
(Makes about 14 to 16 oz)
Ingredients:
2 oz Organic Tequila ("Tierras" & "4 Copas" are 2 brands that we know of)
1 1/2 -2 oz Organic Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice (Juice of 2 limes)
2 to 3 Tbsp. Honey Republic Organic Strawberry Honey
3/4 Cup Fresh Organic Strawberries (if using frozen berries use slightly less than 1/2 Cup)
1 1/2 Cups Ice Cubes
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Salt the rim of a tumbler or margarita glass, pour and enjoy. FYI we didn't use triple sec because we didn't have any organic triple sec, and we were worried that it would be too sweet. You could probably add some (or any other liqueur of your choice) if you wanted. Have fun & experiment! Let us know how it turns out.
